Reports are claiming that Ibrahimovic won’t make his debut for PSG against Chelsea on Sunday night, as he’s yet to link up with his new squad following his signature yesterday.
There is no official confirmation of course but it’d be hard to imagine him having a go a few days after he signed, especially when you know that he’s yet to have a proper pre-season training session.
I would have loved to see him not playing against us if we had to play them in the CL or something – I think it is a pity that he isn`t playing against us on Sunday. For a practice match which is all about getting fit, can you cite me many better tests than Ibrahimovic for our defenders?
Thiago Silva and Ezequiel Lavezzi should be eligible though, as they signed earlier.
Don’t forget that PSG are currently managed by Carlo Ancelotti (who should receive a great reception from the Chelsea fans) and one of the all-time best Chelsea midfielders ever in Claude Makelele. Former Chelsea defender Alex is also there, as well as last year’s Chelsea target Javier Pastore.
Should be a cracking game, really!
