Like many, I`ve lost count as to how many Chelsea players have gone out on loan.
I think it currently stands at 28 but whatever is the exact number of deals struck, it looks like increasing by one someday soon.
According to Sky Sports, Chelsea are in talks with Schalke for Baba Rahman to spend a second consecutive season in German football.
Our source carries some quotes from the clubs sporting director Christain Heidel, which read,
‘We are in talks with the player, his agent and Chelsea. Ultimately, it is about when Baba will be able to play again. No decision has been made yet.’
For those not aware of the current situation, Baba is recovering from a ruptured cruciate ligament injury suffered whilst on international duty with Ghana, back in January 2016.
Ahead of the injury, Baba had made 21 appearances for Schalke.
