Although, so we`re told, there is still time for discussions to take place in relation to John Terry remaining at Stamford Bridge for another season, it just depends on who the next manager of the club might be (so we`re told), it seems that his possible availability has been noticed by those out in the Far East.

The leading tabloid publication this country currently produces, The Sun, carries an article this fine Sunday, suggesting that the former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson is certain that the 35-year-old former England captain tops the wanted list for those Chinese Super League clubs that are seeking to boost their status in the game.

No doubt, if any offers were to come John Terry`s way the salary would be far in excess of what he can earn in this country and knowing John we`re sure that he`d show the same level of commitment that he currently does when he pulls on a Chelsea shirt.

But, it`d still be heart-breaking to see John Terry, after over two decades with Chelsea Football Club, be allowed to walk away when there is so much he could offer the club in numerous guises.
