The 0-0 draw against Arsenal, on Sunday, ended with David Luiz receiving a straight red-card for a tackle almost in front of the dug-outs.
Here at Vital Chelsea we wanted to gauge whether, using our front-page poll, you though the tackle committed by David Luiz was worthy of a straight red card.
We gave you three options to choose from:

We had a majority winner but not by the margin we`d somehow expected.
Surveying the comments left beneath the article relating to the subject matter, we thought David Luiz would be condemned by a large majority.
As it turned out, 55% opted for the yes option whilst 41% opted for the no option.
As for the remaining 4% they were undecided

As an aside though, if the tackle had been committed on David Luiz instead of David Luiz committing the tackle, my perception would be that the gap between the yes and no options would have been a lot wider!
