I am too long in the tooth to go out and purchase a Chelsea shirt anymore.
Gone are the days when I had to have every kit and proudly wore them as I went about my daily business.
Now do not get me wrong, my fervour for the club is as strong as ever and the defeat, albeit on penalties, at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur, in midweek, left me feeling gutted, but circumstances change.
But, although I do not buy the shirts, I am always eager to see what they look like as soon as they are released.
This season, I would, if I were to mark the shirts out of ten, give the home one a 7 and the away one a 7, they are okay but nothing spectacular.
But, as for that third kit, who decided that was a feasible option?
Without beating about the bush, it is rank, it is awful, and, in my opinion, it is quite probably the worst kit I have ever seen Chelsea wear!
