Chelsea’s second big signing of the summer has arrived in the form of Tiemoue Bakayoko. The drawn out transfer that has been muted for last few weeks has finally been announced on the Official Chelsea Website.
There have been cryptic hints and teasing by the French midfielder in the last few hours indicating a move to Stamford Bridge was imminent but also some suggesting it may not.
Finally the wait is over and we can look forward to seeing the 22 year old settle into the Blues line-up alongside fellow countryman N’golo Kante. Hopefully the two of them will form a dynamic partnership in the forthcoming season.

Quoting directly from Chelsea’s website the former Monaco man has said “I am very happy to be here and to join this great team. I have grown up watching Chelsea. Signing was the natural thing for me because it is a club I loved very much in my childhood.” He finished by saying “I am now looking forward to evolving under this fantastic coach and alongside so many great team-mates.”
