On Tuesday evening, those who flocked to Stamford Bridge were provided with a decent nights` entertainment when Chelsea celebrated their return to the Champions League with a 6-0 thrashing of the club from Azerbaijan, FK Qarabag.
The three points won have provided Chelsea with the perfect foundations to build a platform to qualify for the knockout stages.
This Sunday though, we face stiff competition, at Stamford Bridge, when we face Arsenal in a Premier League fixture.
But, before we can concentrate fully on that mouth-watering prospect, we need to close our coverage by announcing who took the man-of-the-match accolade against FK Qarabag.
There were, according to the poll results, four candidates vying for the honour – Cesar Azpilicueta, Cesc Fabregas, Pedro and Davide Zappacosta.
