On Wednesday evening, Chelsea entertained Nottingham Forest in the 3rd round of the EFL Cup.
In front of in excess of 40,000 at Stamford Bridge, including a decent turn-out supporting Nottingham Forest, a much changed Chelsea side put in an impressive display to run out winners by a margin of 5-1.
Following the fixture, as is the norm, we asked you to vote, in our front-page poll, for the player you believed was Chelsea`s man-of-the-match.
As it turned out we had three contenders for the award, three players who scooped a decent percentage of the vote, these three being:
? Antonio Rudiger
? Eden Hazard
and
? Cesc Fabregas.

It was, of course, Eden`s first start for Chelsea since fracturing his ankle in an international training camp and, it is fair to say, his skills lit up the game.
