Another Of What We Suspect Will Be A Plethora Of Loan Deals For Young Chelsea Players Is Confirmed

|

In what we, here at Vital Chelsea, suspect will be a similar pattern followed by the club in previous years, the Stamford Bridge loan exodus has already started in earnest.

Although the club is operating under a two-window transfer ban, there is, like previous seasons, the probability of a plethora of youngsters sent out on loan.

Today, the BBC, has confirmed that one of our many young defenders, Richard Nartey, has departed on a season-long loan.

Nartey, just 20-years-of-age has joined the League One side, Burton Albion.

The youngster has yet to play for the Chelsea first team but did, last season, feature in the Checkatrade Trophy for the U-21 side.

In our opinion, the move makes perfect sense. Nartey will get the opportunity to regular, competitive football whilst Chelsea, through their scouting network, will get to monitor the progress of the player.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we wish Richard Nartey well and hope his loan spell proves to be a successful one.
