One popular media vehicle of the tabloid variety, is reporting that Chelsea have had a bid for an Italian striker rejected.
Our associates at the Mirror, are championing the suggestion that the player Chelsea were looking to procure was Andrea Belotti.
The 23-year-old striker is currently on the books of Torino and the inference given is that Chelsea offered Torino £51 million for the striker, a bid that was flatly refused.
Our referenced source implies that Torino, if they are going to part with their asset, will want the full £85 million for the player that is listed as his buy-out clause in his contract.
