Looking towards the future, it is being reported that Chelsea are showing some interest in a 17-year-old striker who is currently on the books of the Catalan giants Barcelona.
The teenager in question is Abel Ruiz who is currently showcasing his skills in the Barcelona B team.
According to the red-top publication, Mirror, Chelsea have sounded out Ruiz`s representatives about a possible move.
The youngster has recently been starring for Spain U17`s in the U17 World Cup, in India.
However, it would seem his current contract, which doesn`t end until 2019, contains a clause that makes an approach favourable.
The player can be purchased if any club matches the £3 million buy-out clause in his aforementioned contract.
