Chelsea Looking To Add These Two Centre-Backs To Their Squad Claim

|

Transfer tittle-tattle continues to infer that Chelsea are now looking to make moves to strengthen the heart of their defence.

Yesterday, we reported on how speculation was increasing that the Brighton defender, Lewis Dunk, was edging closer to a move to Stamford Bridge – chelseas-move-for-centre-back-edging-closer-to-completion-claim.

But, according to The Mirror, Chelsea are looking to make a double-signing with our referenced source implying that even if Lewis Dunk does sign for Chelsea then the club are also looking to bring, as we’ve reported on before – chelsea-linked-with-the-acquisition-of-a-central-defender – the 26-year-old out-of-favour Manchester City centre-back, John Stones, to the club.

If that were to be the case, it would cast doubts on the Chelsea future of Antonio Rudiger, Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christensen.

But it also begs me to ask the question, do you see a central defensive partnership of Dunk and Stones as the one to improve our defensive fortunes?
