Chelsea v Manchester City – Predict The Starting X1 And The Score

Chelsea commence their 2021 fixtures with a visit from Manchester City, on Sunday.

For a club that are struggling to pick up the expected number of points they should be, going up against Manchester City is not the ideal game.

But there were signs, against Aston Villa, with Frank Lampard making numerous changes to the starting XI that were so poor against Arsenal, that things could get better.

However, with a plethora of fixtures to get through, I cannot help but think that the old rotation policy could come into effect.

Manchester City arrive in West London having had their last Premier League fixture postponed, after several of their squad tested positive for COVID-19, it will be interesting to see how Pep Guardiola’s team selection reflect this.
