Over the past couple of weeks, we`ve been running an on-going series relating to those who have won the famous Chelsea shirt and who are of Spanish origin.
One of those we`ve already covered in our Spanish Armada series has featured in the English press this Sunday morning.
Albert Ferrer, (follow the link to access our article Spanish Armada (5) – Albert Ferrer) is being linked with a return to English football.
Now 47-years-old, Ferrer, who was a more than capable right-back, is looking for a managerial role in England.
Since hanging up his boots, Ferrer has gained coaching experience in Holland and Spain and is utilising the services of the English agent, Simon Conning, to source a managerial post in England.
Furthermore, it is being reported by our source, The Sun on Sunday, Ferrer would be interested in a position at a lower division club.
Here at Vital Chelsea we`ll keep an eye out for any further developments and report back as deemed necessary.
