With Chelsea needing to win, away to Bournemouth, after Spurs had cut our lead at the top-of-the-table, Eden Hazard was on hand to, once again, do the business.

Our jewel in the crown continues to show that he is the top performer in the Premier League and, once again, got on the score-sheet against the south coast side.

After the game Eden spoke to the media about this knack players have of scoring against certain sides, remarking,

“You have teams you know before the game you can score against, or that they are your team.

“I remember in France I always scored against the same teams, but if you want to be a top player you have to score against every team.

“It was a good goal, I like to score against them, I scored two here goals against them here last season.”

On Sunday, a former Chelsea player, well a legend to be precise, gave his view on Hazard`s prowess, with none-other than Frank Lampard remarking on the popular Sky Sports programme, Goals on Sunday,

“He`s the best player in the league for me at the moment.

“The composure, the ability, he`s just playing with ease and confidence. There`s a real maturity about him.

“Now there`s a real directness to his play. He`s more efficient. He`s getting in areas to make goals and score goals.”

He is and Frank knows a superstar when he sees one!
