Chelsea are one of the sides being credited with an interest in Schalke 04 left back Sead Kolisinac – in fact there’s not just ‘an interest’ it’s been claimed by the Daily Mirror the Blues are ‘confident’ of securing his signature.
Liverpool, Manchester City and Everton have all been linked with Kolisinac, as have AC Milan, Juventus and Roma from Serie A, but Chelsea are reportedly ahead of the pack?
He’s no stranger to speculation linking him with Chelsea as the Mirror reminds us of reported interest last summer and a late move for the Bosnian international in the January transfer window, a move ‘blocked’ by Schalke.
With his contract expiring at the end of the season, the 23 year old isn’t expected to sign a new deal so is set to leave his German club, Everton’s interest has reportedly seen them offer the left back £100,000 a week to join them.
The Italian interest can be discounted though given the fact Kolisinac ‘favours a move to the Premier League’ and this has left Chelsea boss Antonio Conte confident this choice will be Stamford Bridge. Well, as far as the Mirror is concerned anyway.
