Tonight, Chelsea make their return to Champions League action when they welcome the Spanish side, Valencia, to Stamford Bridge.

After a dalliance last season, a very successful dalliance we must say, in the Europa League, it has to be said that nothing beats a Champions League night down in SW6.

However, Chelsea enter this difficult looking fixture with a plethora of players who are not available for selection with N’Golo Kante, Reece James, Emerson, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Antonio Rudiger and Ruben Loftus-Cheek all at different stages of recovery when it comes to injuries.

As is the norm, here at Vital Chelsea, we’re running our Match Day Moments feature whereby we encourage you to leave your views on a variety of subjects including, but not limited to:

1 – The build-up to the big match.

2 – The starting eleven selected by Frank Lampard.

3 – The action as it happens at Stamford Bridge.

4 – Your thoughts in the immediate period after the final whistle has sounded.

Will it be all smiles for the Chelsea support tonight once the final whistle has sounded?

I guess only time will tell!
