And so, the day of judgement has arrived.
This afternoon, Chelsea go head-to-head with the reigning Premier League title holders and current leaders, Manchester City.
A poor run of form has seen Chelsea collect just 4 points out of the last 12 available and has seen them slip 10 points behind Pep Guardiola’s side.
Manchester City arrive at Stamford Bridge in vibrant form having not tasted defeat in the Premier League this season.
This fixture could go one of two ways:
1 – Chelsea could, if they don’t buck their ideas up, be on the end of a hiding,
2 – Chelsea could, get their game together and become the first team to beat Manchester City, in the Premier League this season.
Which is it to be?
However, whatever the outcome, I seriously hope that Chelsea go for it, that we don’t park the bus and hope to keep Manchester City at bay and take the 0-0 draw.
As usual, we’re running our Match Day Moments feature, whereby we encourage you to leave your views on a variety of subject including, but not limited to:
1 – The build-up to the big game.
2 – The starting eleven selected by Maurizio Sarri.
3 – The action as it happens at Stamford Bridge.
4 – Your thoughts in the immediate period following the sounding of the final whistle.
Come on Chelsea!
