The games are certainly coming thick and fast.

After a magical trip to Amsterdam, for a Champions League fixture against Ajax, it’s back to the Premier League this weekend with a trip to the northern outpost of Burnley.

Chelsea make the long trip north, to take on Sean Dyche’s side, having won their last six games, in all competitions, under Frank Lampard.

With confidence high in the squad, we’re all hoping that Frank’s exciting side, a blend of experience and youth, can make it seven wins on the bounce.

But, a trip to Turf Moor is always a tough experience, something Frank will be well aware of.

Also, with the fixtures coming thick and fast, Chelsea welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge for a Carabao Cup tie the following Wednesday, Lampard may well be tempted to rotate his squad.

As is the norm, ahead of a fixture, we’re asking you to second guess just who the gaffer will opt for in his starting eleven.

Simply drop your predicted starting eleven into the comment facility beneath this article and we’ll see if anyone can get it spot on.

  • Comment Chelsea v United
    James Tomori Rudiger Emerson
    Kante Kovacic Mount
    Willian Pulisic Batman

  • Impressive result against a difficult Burnley team. We switched off at the dying stages and we paid dearly for it. But on the positive side, this is a young team and they are learning as the season progresses. I think Lamps will have a lot of selection problems as players return from their injuries because they are are all putting in unbelievable efforts and they follow the instructions to the letter. Can you imagine a situation where Kante is fit and Lamps benches him as a result of the brilliant chemistry developing from Jorginho and Kovacic? Or Rudiger not included in the team because of the impressive work Zouma is doing? These are indeed fine days to be a Chelsea supporter and long may this continue.

  • This is not to get ahead of ourselves but if we keep up these performances for the next 15 league games, we will either be jostling for the title or cementing our top four position. Lamps and these boys are already surpassing expectations. Seriously, we expect them to struggle a lot with the departure of Hazard but that’s not the case.

  • Some fans are too eager and keen to win such that they are already slating these young boys for their errors especially Hudson-Odoi but they forgot about the fact that he was out injured for a long period and his form will return gradually. They want him to pick up from where he left but it is not easy and he’s still 18. Let’s cheer them on and in less than two seasons these boys will be world beaters if Lamps is allowed to nurture them further

  • Great Great Great result…. I was very prepared to accept any result in this match loss, draw… Due to the mid week game at netherland on Wednesday and this game against the rested, fit and bully burnley team in an away match. And I was greeted with a win… This is amazing….
That’s the result of having players who can step up in different matches… I know and hope that giroud, bats, rlc will help Chelsea in differeny matches as they get fit and mins… Today it was pulisic…. Hope these young guys keep themselves motivated… And lampard would try to rotate them, to keep them on the edge… Also time to rotate Abraham, to give him break and freshness…
