As far as transfer rumours go they probably don`t come much bigger than this one.
It seems that a very well respected news source is linking Chelsea with the acquisition of a footballing superstar.
The very well respected news vehicle the Times is suggesting that the Barcelona striker Neymar, is considering an approach from Chelsea Football Club.
To secure the services of the 25-year-old forward would require Chelsea to match the buy-out clause in his contract which stands at a cool £170 million.
But we should also point out that we`re not alone in expressing an interest in the Brazilian with our reference source also implying that Manchester United have also made an approach.
Now if this piece of transfer speculation had come courtesy of a tabloid publication I`d dismiss it as garbage, but coming from the Times, perhaps it deserves some serious thought.
