Popular Chelsea Midfielder Linked With A Move To Serie A

|

In what is a shortened break between the 2019 / 2020 and 2020 / 2021 seasons, courtesy of the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re expecting a flurry of transfer activity as Frank Lampard reshapes his squad to move Chelsea towards challenging for the Premier League title.

In doing so, it wouldn’t surprise me if there were some big names leaving Stamford Bridge as the rebuild continues.

But could one of those big names be N’Golo Kante?

The reason I ask is that Gazetta Dello Sport are reporting that Inter Milan are showing an interest in the French midfielder.

Now 12 months ago I’d have considered the prospects of Kante leaving as being very low, but now I’m not so sure.

Last season, the 29-year-old was troubled by injuries and, as a result, wasn’t such an influential member of the side.

Also, age could now be an influencing factor, could Chelsea be looking, as they invest vast amounts of cash in new players, be looking to cash in on Kante before he turns 30-years-of-age?

Does Lampard see his vision of Chelsea being built around Kante or has he other ideas?

All thoughts to mull over with a hectic close season upon us.

But how do you see the situation panning out, do you see Kante still being at Chelsea next season?

Will N'Golo Kante Still Be A Chelsea Player Next Season?

Yes!

No!

Chelsea should hold on on this guy for probably three more season …they need to blend the old faces with new young faces and Kante is one of the guys who should stick around letting him go is like throwing little Jimy in a hot stove
