Yesterday, in respect to the immediate future of Tammy Abraham, we ran an article whereby we pointed out that there was another Premier League club showing interest in the young striker.

With Newcastle United and Brighton and Hove Albion having already expressed an interest in signing the player who scored 26 goals whilst out on loan with Bristol City last season, Swansea City were the latest club to join the list.

However, less than twenty-four hours later, according to one tabloid publication, the Mirror, Swansea have not only expressed an interest in the 19-year-old but are set to sign Tammy on a season long-loan.

If the above is true, it will see Tammy playing under the managerial acumen of Paul Clement who was Carlo Ancelotti`s right-hand man when Chelsea won the Premier League and FA Cup double.

But, with Tammy away on international duty with the U21 squad as they seek to win the European U21 Championships, we`d be very surprised if the deal is done and dusted and anything more than, at the moment, just a verbal agreement between the three parties involved.

Here at Vital Chelsea we`ll keep a watchful eye on proceedings and report back as deemed necessary.
