Chelsea boss Antonio Conte refused to be drawn on speculation linking Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez to Stamford Bridge.

This news doing the rounds at the moment is claiming Sanchez does want to join Chelsea? Reports of an apparent Blues interest isn’t new but these latest rumours suggest the 28 year old is looking to push through a switch across London.

He didn’t confirm or deny an interest but Conte made it clear speaking about the Chile international was disrespectful to both Arsenal and his own players at Chelsea.

The Chelsea boss was quizzed in his news conference ahead of the Manchester City game. Conte was quoted by the Metro.

‘You know I don`t like to speak about other players of other clubs. I think it`s disrespectful for the club, for my players. It`s not the right moment to speak about this.’

Conte’s failure to dismiss interest in Sanchez will most likely lead to continued speculation linking him with a move to Stamford Bridge – then again even if the Blues boss had ruled this out it wouldn’t bring an end to the rumours would it!
