Young Chelsea Strikers Sweat Over What The Coming Season Has In Store For Them

|

It’s interesting to take note of all the speculation emerging relating to strikers, at Chelsea, in the last couple of days.

If the press is to be believed, Gonzalo Higuain is set to become a Chelsea player whilst both Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud could be off-loaded.

However, for the purpose of this article, we’d like to ponder over the futures of two young strikers that are eyeing up what lies ahead for them as far as their Chelsea careers go, with the duo being Michy Batshuayi and Tammy Abraham.

Last season, as Chelsea tasted success in the FA Cup Final, both were out on loan spells.

Batshuayi, after a very successful start to his loan spell with Borussia Dortmund, was back at Cobham having treatment on an ankle injury that, as it turned out, didn’t exclude him from Belgium’s World Cup squad.

Abraham, after a very successful previous season with Bristol City, was reflecting on being part of a Swansea City squad that lost their Premier League status and with the youngster struggling to hit the net on a regular basis.

Now, with the new season approaching, it remains to be seen whether either, or both, will be part of Maurizio Sarri’s squad for the forthcoming season, or whether loan spells beckon or even, possibly, a permanent move.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we’d like the readership to offer their views on the conundrum outlined above, what do you believe the coming season holds for Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi?
