The first fixture of our hectic September programme saw Chelsea go to the King Power Stadium and beat Leicester City 2-1.
The win makes if three Premier League wins on the bounce for Chelsea, lifting them up the table to a very respectable third position.
This Tuesday evening Chelsea, after a seasons` absence, commence their Champions League schedule with a home fixture against FK Qarabag.
But, before we concentrate on that game, we need to announce who the Vital Chelsea membership voted for as their man-of-the-match at the King Power Stadium.
With the poll now closed, we had two contenders who were head-and-shoulders above the rest when it came to the percentage of votes cast, those two being N`Golo Kante and Alvaro Morata.
As it turned out it was the latter who claimed the accolade with Alavaro Morata claiming 41% of the votes cast compared to the 22% N`Golo Kante polled.
