The 1-0 victory over Manchester United, at Stamford Bridge, was a most welcome one.
With the pressure on the side to produce the goods after the dismal performance out in Rome, in the Champions League, they did just that.
Fired up by Conte`s pre-match team talk and the subtle changes he made to the starting eleven, Chelsea went about their task in admirable way.
In the end, Chelsea could have won by a much bigger margin, if their finishing had been more clinical.
But, a win is a win and the three points gained should stand us in good stead as we continue our quest to retain our Premier League title.
