Chelsea Midfielder Given The Perfect Chance To Prove The Doubters Wrong

|

Earlier this week I may have upset a few people with my views.

In an article I published, Click Here, I suggested that I’d shed few tears if our 27-year-old Brazilian born Italian international midfielder, Jorginho, were to follow Maurizio Sarri and join Juventus.

My thoughts weren’t appreciated by all, but, then again our opinions are always going to differ on occasions.

However, those who want to see the midfielder remain at Stamford Bridge for a second season could be set to get their wish.

According to the Sun, Sarri has no intention of trying to lure Jorginho to Turin with our former boss implying the midfield he has inherited has better players in it than Jorginho.

But, it gets worse, according to the Daily Mail, if Sarri were to venture into the transfer market it would be to add the Bosnia-Herzegovina international, Miralem Pjanic, to the squad.

Quite a kick in the nether region I’d say but perhaps it also provides Jorginho with the motivation to continue the improved form he showed in the latter stages of last season and go on to prove not only Sarri wrong but me also!
