Chelsea Target Set To Shun Move To The Premier League

|

Back in April, here at Vital Chelsea, we ran an article linking the club with an experienced midfielder.

Our article – chelseas-interest-in-juventus-midfielder-could-be-dismissed-or-perhaps-not – covered the media speculation linking Chelsea with a move for the Bosnia-Herzegovina international, Miralem Pjanic.

Our article queried whether the Juventus player was the experienced player the club might be looking to bring in to assist our youthful midfield or whether, at 30-years-of-age, his best years had passed him by.

However, all that now seems immaterial with it being championed by Mundodeportivo that the player, although he could be tempted to leave Juventus, he is not interested in a move to the Premier League.

Unfortunately, if Chelsea’s interest in Pjanic was genuine, it means that the club will have to revisit their wish-list but, then again, the manner in which the transfer market works, it’ll probably not be the only knock-back we get this summer.

There’s plenty more fish in the sea, as they say!
