Fenerbahce Interested In Signing A Second Chelsea Player In A Deal That Would Get Our Approval

|

As the January transfer window gets ready to close.

Just a matter of days after it was confirmed that Victor Moses had signed, on loan, for Fenerbahce for eighteen months, something we reported on Click Here, it seems that Moses could be joined by a familiar face, that of Danny Drinkwater.

The good folk of the Daily Mail, are reporting that the Turkish club want to take the out-of-favour midfielder on a loan spell.

Drinkwater, signed from Leicester City, has been conspicuous by his absence this season and might welcome the chance to get regular football.

For Chelsea, a loan move would also ease the wage-bill with Fenerbahce having to pay the players salary.

To us, here at Vital Chelsea, the move makes perfect sense, but it could all hinge on how comfortable Drinkwater is when it comes to continuing his career in Turkish football, it could even be a case of waiting to see what other offers martialize in the coming days before the transfer window slams shut.
