Chelsea Defender Set For January Move Suggests International Boss

|

Before the summer transfer window closed, it looked very much as if our German international central defender, Antonio Rudiger, was set to leave the club.

The 27-year-old appears to be out of favour at the club with Frank Lampard preferring other partnership, at the heart of the defence, this season.

As the deadline approached, there was the suggestion that Rudiger could move, up the road, to Tottenham Hotspur, something that did not sit well with the Chelsea support – chelsea-support-united-in-their-belief-this-deal-should-not-be-allowed-to-happen – however, no such move materialised and Rudiger, with the transfer window shut, remains a Chelsea player.

But for how long?

With the opening of the January transfer window not that far away, The Sun, carries an interesting article today, an article that infers Rudiger did everything he could to engineer a move away from Stamford Bridge.

With the international break with us, our referenced source also implies that Rudigers’ international boss, Joachim Low, is of the view that Rudiger will leave Chelsea in January.

To where is not discussed but the expression anywhere but Tottenham springs to mind!
